Abstract [eng] In this thesis, personal career model opportunities applying business models are researched. In the theoretical part, personal career and influential factors are analyzed, the attitude towards personal career as a kind of business is validated. The influence of personality characteristics to a career is identified as well as action competencies importance to the thesis results are explained. The business model is adapted to the personal career model. Also, a personal career model variety is provided together with links of personality characteristic typologies. The quantitative study is conducted – a case study. The research sample is made of three people with higher education degrees working according to their specialties, but unsatisfied with their professions. Specialists are as follows: an accountant, a medical biologist, a civil servant (national defence). There were six alternative personal career models created which were most suitable and likable by the researched individuals according to the standardized psychometrical test results and unstructured abyssal interview data. These models help evaluate and decrease the risks of unsuccessfully changing the career.
