Although in Lithuania operates a well-developed district heating system, heating system delayed a number of studies anyway each individual heating system company usually has its own context and its current unique situation. This work examines heat holding. A significant impact on the financial results of heat enterprises has fuel prices, which does not depend on the activities of the suppliers of the heat. One of the main strategic energy independence and energy efficiency key is the heating system modernisation. Lithuanian energy dependence on Russian concern supplied natural gas, which is mainly used for the production of heat, influenced the gas prices rise. From 2014 December, the lng terminal was built and Lithuania is able to independently meet the demand of natural gas. Natural gas becomes cheaper and competitive for biofuels. |
