Urea produced by mixing ammonia, water and carbon dioxide in the synthesis column in ratio of 3,0–3,4:1:0,8. Also there is stream of recycle which consist of ammonia carbon salts. Urea is most condensed granulated fertilizer by nitrogen. For plants like potatoes, corns, beets and else urea is more effective than ammonium nitrate that makes it more attractive to farmers. Almost all nitrogen in urea is in amide form. In this project, granular urea production technology is examined. Overview of related literature was made. Granular urea production technologies and consumption tendencies and forecasts were presented. Possible and recommended solutions for urea production and technological development. Thera was also an overview of slow release urea coatings. |
