Research in the final master’s project has shown that chromed leather semi-finished products can be dyed using cranberry pomace extract. By using 10% of the weight of the chromed leather semi-finished product, the dye penetrates to such an extent that the leather meets the requirements of surface-dyeing leather, and after the remaining wet-finishing and drying, the resulting leather meets the requirements for leather footwear and clothing. The range and characteristics of the manufactured products and the technological line of chromed leather semi-finished products are presented. Company products: Nappa, Nubuck, clothing leather, clothing velor and lining leather. The total productivity of the company is 250 thousand square meters of leather treated per year. The building of the design company is one storey with a total internal area of 2116.5 m2 and land total area of 59.66 ares. The performed economic calculations show that the investment in the project is efficient and profitable - the payback period of the project investment is 5 years and 10 months. The estimated net present value of the project is positive (NPV = 1670.74 thousand Eur) and the profitability index is higher than one (PI = 1.38), so the project is efficient. The environmental assessment of the project has shown that the main sources of pollution are wastewater generated during technological processes and generated waste. Occupational risk of employees, production safety, assigned occupational hygiene norms were assessed. After evaluating the risk of fire and explosion, the building is classified as Dg category. |
