Abstract [eng] |
The demand for drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for commercial or private use is steadily growing. Drones are already being used for a wide range of commercial purposes such as: asset storage, forest fire surveillance, agricultural applications, military industry, communication and many other areas. There is also a growing number of drone purchases by private individuals. Today, drone safety is defined by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 on rules and procedures for the use of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. Which states that once registered in the system, a person receives an authentic user registration number, which he/she must use to mark all drones or unmanned aerial vehicles he/she owns. The code must be readable without the aid of optical devices from a distance of at least 2 metres. This is currently the only document in the European Union that defines the identification of a drone owner. |
