Abstract [eng] |
With rapid technological changes in companies, employees have to adapt to new changing working conditions. Adapting to new technologies is not an easy process, so it takes longer or shorter for each employee to adapt to new technologies. Adaptation to new technologies is mainly influenced by the age of employees. Adapting to new technologies is more difficult for older workers and creates difficulties for them. Studies have shown that older workers, although they have more work experience and knowledge, they lack certain skills to adapt more easily to new technologies. It has been observed that older workers are less flexible, more difficult to adapt to changes, perceive new ideas, are less receptive to learning. The object of the project – adaptation of older workers to new technologies. The aim of the project – to identify the factors that determine the adaptation of older workers to new technologies. Tasks: 1. To reveal the concept and models of adaptation to new technologies. 2. Theoretically justify the factors determining the adaptation of older workers to new technologies. 3. To formulate a theoretical model of the factors determining the adaptation of older workers to new technologies. 4. To investigate what factors determine the adaptation of older workers to new technologies. Empirical research shows that older workers tend to face a lack of computer skills when they adapting to new technologies. The strongest relationship was found between perceived self-efficacy and adaptation to new technologies and computer skills and adaptation. The more older worker realize their efficiency, the more computer skills they have and the more qualified they are, the easier it is to adapt to new technologies. |
