In Master‘s degree project discussion is about concrete floor classification, floor installation, comparing surface treatment methods and treated surfaces possibilities and advantages. New type liquid surface hardeners are described and their impact for the surface. Sample density, compression, abrasion resistance, water penetration and hardener penetration level tests were done before and after covering concrete samples with hardeners which were lithium silicate based hardeners from „Crete Colors“. After doing the research, it was found that after sample was covered with hardeners, abrasion resistance increases and it panetrates less water, also estetical appearance of the concrete remains the same as before tests. |
