Abstract [eng] |
The main objective of this research is to synthesize photocatalyst and self-cleaning coatings and evaluate the cleaning efficiency of these surfaces under UV radiation. Master's thesis consists of three main parts: a review of the literature, used materials and research methodology, also - systematization of experimental results. In the first part, the fundamental principles of photocatalysis are reviewed. Also, a variety of photocatalyst materials is discussed, how these photocatalysts materials are produced. In addition, examples and the efficiency of coatings that can decompose organic pollutants and coating methods are analyzed. In the second part of the master's thesis, all the used material and applied nanomaterial synthesis methodology is presented. This chapter describes the course of the experimental studies, used measuring techniques and measuring instruments that indicate the efficiency of synthesized and commercial TiO2. In the third part of this research, the results of the study are analyzed. Illustrations of work progress and diagrams of results are provided that introduce to synthesized material properties. These results are then compared to commercial material properties. Also, the reaction to UV radiation between used samples of coatings and UV impact to material coatings are analyzed. |
