Strengthening of structures is becoming more and more relevant in today's construction, and the methods and best ways to strengthen a particular structure are not always clear. The final thesis analyzes the steel structure affected by corrosion. The types of corrosion in the buildings were analyzed, and the type of warehouse corrosion source identified. The analysis of the methods of retrofitting of steel structures was performed - repairing with plates or profiles, retrofitting with carbon fiber materials and strengthening with external tendons. Corrosion of the rigid steel frame was modeled and the design and bearing capacity of the corrosion-affected frame were verified. The load-bearing capacity of the frame strengthened with tension rods and additional plates was also analytically tested and these methods were compared. |
