Abstract [eng] |
As the construction sector develops, the scale of buildings expands and technologies and materials improve, it is difficult to find efficient and proven building materials. The roof is one of the most important and expensive parts of a building, so improper choice of roof waterproofing can cause significant losses. Many face difficulty in deciding whether the roof they choose is suitable, providing the building with protection not only from rainfall but also from sunlight, wind and extreme temperatures. Thus, the first chapter of this work examines 20 literature sources, including 15 scientific articles, 4 research papers, and 1 monograph. The first part examines the biggest errors of Lithuanian and foreign scientific articles in the installation of waterproofing coatings on the overlapped roof of an industrial building, the problems of installation of waterproofing joints and the impact of coatings on the environment. The biggest designers' mistakes in designing overlapping roofs are reviewed and the influence of the sun on the waterproofing coating is analyzed. The second chapter provides an overview of the most commonly used multi-criteria assessment methods to date, the detailed method algorithms of TOPSIS and M-TOPSIS, and the algorithm for determining the compatibility of survey results. Four groups were formed in the research part: the first group consisted of works managers, construction managers and project managers, the second group of project engineers, the third group - a total group, and the fourth group with the same criteria of significance of the indicator. When the significance criterion was determined only according to the surveys of the supervisors and the decision was made according to the TOPSIS and M-TOPSIS methods, it was found that the EPDM roof covering is the most effective roof covering in both methods. When the decision is made according to the significance of the indicator of the project engineers, the most effective roofing for both methods was found to be EPDM. The overall significance of the indicators for supervisors, construction managers, project managers, and project engineers was calculated for the overall group. According to the multi-criteria evaluation methods TOPSIS and MTOPSIS, the best waterproofing of the overlapped roof was found to be EPDM. In the last calculations of the study part, it was found that EPDM is the most effective of all the coatings studied. Thus, of all the waterproofing coatings investigated, EPDM roofing was the most efficient and the most inefficient bituminous MIDA Balt PV S4B roofing in all calculations. |
