Abstract [eng] |
In this master thesis, the production of lightweight honeycomb panel and the qualitative properties of the panel is examined. Various defects are found in the manufacture of lightweight honeycomb panels. To eliminate the defects, existing research is searched for, but in the face of a lack of information, the aim of the work is to discover the causes of the quality discrepancies by analyzing the manufacturing process and the qualitative properties of the materials. The main type of defect in the production of the lightweight honeycomb panel has been identified through observation of the production process and qualitative analysis. To find the cause of the main defect, research has been done on both the paper honeycomb filler and the manufactured panel. The studies have shown which moisture content of the paper honeycomb filler is most suitable for the product and which type of paper is best to use. It has been investigated which environmental parameters are best for the production and conditioning of lightweight honeycomb panels. Determine the minimum difference in adhesive content between surfaces to produce flat parts. A study was carried out to determine the shortest conditioning time for the products. Product quality differences are presented for both hot and cold panel production. Once the parameters most suitable to produce a lightweight panel have been identified, changes are made in the production company. After the modifications have been made, calculations are presented which demonstrate both the reduction in defects and the increase in production efficiency and the financial benefits. At the end of the thesis, there are recommendations and conclusions summarizing the master's thesis. |
