Abstract [eng] |
Objective - evaluate new smart readiness indicator and analyze its impact for energy efficiency of buildings increasement using different case scenarios. The literature review examines themes of smart cities, smart buildings and Smart Readiness Indicator. It was determinated, that Building Management Systems can save water cost up to 30 %, energy cost up to 40 % and building maintenance cost from 10 % up to 30 %. Furthermore, it was determinated, that the SRI score and energy efficiency of building class may differ because energy efficiency of building methodology does not include domains features. In our research, calculation was made for the building of Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Kaunas University of Technology. The total calculated SRI score of the examined building is 26%. The energy savings calculated according to IDA-ICE software shows, that 11,9 % of energy per heating season can be save by modernizing heating system. The total calculated SRI score of alternative scenario is 67%. This score shows that buildings cannot achieve maximum SRI score if centralized city systems are not smart enough Project includes 10 tables, 22 pictures and 40 literature sources. |
