Abstract [eng] |
In dissertation was shown that some types (modified nPAGF and VIPARnd) of polyacrylamide and N-vinylpyrrolidone based polymer gels are sensitive enough to record small-scale high-dose radiation-induced optical property changes in polymerized gel structures. The highest sensitivity to the dose was 0.081 Gy-1s-1 and 0.121 Gy-1s-1 for nPAGF and VIPARnd, respectively. VIPARnd gels were as well sensitive enough in a high dose region (10 Gy to 40 Gy), indicating 0.035 Gy-1s-1 sensitivity. Radiation-induced 3D printing method was firstly proposed and free standing dose gel structures were created as well. The applicability of dose gels for individualized patient dosimetry purposes in brachytherapy and gamma knife surgery has been assessed and implemented during the pilot projects. |
