Summary Hydrazones are a new class of drug compounds with the NHN = CH group. Hydrazones, compounds that help drugs to be better absorbed by the body and achieve their goal faster or as an antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant. , pyrazole substituents and investigate their antimicrobial activity. During the work, the corresponding aromatic amines and itaconic acid were reacted to give 1- (4-acetylamino)-5-oxopyrrolidine-3-carboxylic acid and 1-(4-dimethylaminophenyl) -5-oxopyrrolidine-3-carboxylic acid. Further, these acids were reacted with hydrazine monohydrate to give hydrazides. And the resulting hydrazides reacted with the corresponding aryl-aldehydes and ketones to form hydrazones, pyroles, or pyrazoles. 1- (4-Acetylamino) -5-oxopyrrolidine-3-carboxylic acid was further reacted with hydrochloric acid to form 1- (4-aminophenyl) -5-oxopyrrolidine-3-carboxylic acid from which hydrazide reacted with 2,5-hexanedione and the corresponding thiopencarbaldehydes. The synthesized compounds were sent for microbiological examination to Cornell University, where their biological activity was determined. |
