The increasing amount of renewable sources and the decreasing number of traditional generators may lead to the decrease of inertia in the system. This induces additional challenges to the system stability. Therefore the aim of this work is to investigate the influence of synchronous condenser on the dynamic characteristics of grid frequency when renewable power plants are connected. |
