| Abstract [eng] |
The aim of this work is to model the influence of various factors on the formation of corona discharge in high voltage overhead power lines. The paper presents an overview of the theory of gas discharge, corona discharge formation, electromagnetic field calculation. The consequences of the corona discharge formation are discussed. Influence of various factors on the formation of the corona discharge and corona losses is reviewed. With the help of the software package COMSOL Multiphysics, a model was developed to investigate the influence of various factors on the formation of the corona discharge. Results with conclusions were presented. |
