Abstract [eng] |
The aim of Master‘s final degree thesis – to perform impact analysis of the synthetic inertia developed by the battery energy storage system on frequency characteristics of the electric power system. This research of Master‘s final degree consists of three main parts. First of all, the first chapter provides a review of the literature. It discusses the scientific work of other authors on the causes and consequences of the reduction of inertia by naturally occurring from electric power system and the ways of solving the problem using synthetic inertia extracted from battery energy storage systems. The second part describes the model of the investigated electric power system. The elements used in the model and their control systems, equations and schemes describing them are also presented. In the final, third part of the research, the obtained work results are presented and analyzed. They reflect the influence of synchronous generators, function of synthetic inertia and its controller variables on frequency characteristics of the electric power system. At the end, the research conclusions were formed using the data of the obtained results. |
