Abstract [eng] |
In transport, stability is one of the most important factors in ensuring road safety. Stability is important: both for cars and for heavy vehicles, and motorcycles. The review of literature sources examines research and articles related to the stability of vehicles, the dynamics of movement. First, a vehicle dynamic model with a high center of gravity is introduced and described. Here, the authors compare the theoretically calculated results with the practically obtained results. The dynamics of the vehicle when cornering at the limit of adhesion are also reviewed, where the conclusions state, that state variables or motion parameters must be taken into account. This master’s thesis investigates the stability of a particular car by selecting a dynamic model of fourteen degrees of freedom and evaluating its technical parameters such as: height of the mass center of gravity, body mass, suspension stiffness, suspension damping coefficient. The study was performed on three driving trajectories and the obtained results are presented graphically and written in the conclusions. |
