In Final Master‘s Degree Project, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are designed. Heating and cooling efficiency was evaluated by applying numerical calculation method described in scientific article. In project air to water heat-pump coefficient of performance and heat output calculation at partial loads was performed, as well as the calculation of the degree of efficiency degradation with the heat pump operating in “on/off” mode. All calculations were performed using Lithuanian Hydrometeorology Service collected data of air temperature in every hour for Kaunas city, from 01/01/2015 to 12/12/2020. After analyzing various HVAC systems technologies and their configurations, as well comparing their initial investment and operating costs, systems with longterm prospects, cost-effective, convenient services and low maintenance, was chosen. |
