The mobile app development industry is growing due to the intensive application of mobile devices, most of which use the Android operating system. However, mobile platforms' development raises additional concerns such as code performance, interoperability with device resources, and a short time to market. MDE along with UML could provide abstraction and automation for mobile software developers. Automated code generation from Android mobile application models could ensure code efficiency, correct use of resources, and shorten project implementation time. Therefore, a tool is proposed based on the MDE methodology and could perform the transformation process between the submitted Android mobile application models, resulting in Android mobile application code. |
