Abstract [eng] Black chokeberry pomace is a by-product of aronia juice. However, nowadays in raspberries technological processing large quantities of pomace are removed as waste, while it could be used for the development of valuable preparations containing bioactive compounds. Based on the research studies chokeberry pomace is a good source of bioactive compounds that could be processed into high added value products with health benefit properties. The aim of this work was to obtain different extraction methods of black chokeberry pomace (Aronia melanocarpa) into functional ingredients and evaluate antioxidant properties and phenolics and aroma compounds of obtained extracts/fractions.
