The market share of compact fluorescent lamps are increasing due the economical advantages over incandescent light bulbs and resulting in high growth of such spent lamp waste. In this study spent fluorescent lamp waste composition and oxidation efficiencies of various chemical reagent were investigated. Also leeching test was conducted to evaluate possibilities for recovery of rare earth elements. |
