Abstract [eng] |
In most cases polluted water is cleaned by conventional water purification systems. Since the development of the detection of chemical substances in the water and the evaluation of their toxicity, more and more various xenobiotic substances are detected. That is why one the most important tasks of water purification is the creation of the efficient water cleaning system. One of the alternatives is the creation of the system of sorbents and combined photocatalysis. The objective of the master thesis was the preparation of active TiO2 and activated carbon sorbent creation using chemical vapor deposition. The purpose was to prepare the sorbent TiO2 coated with activated carbon for the purification of water and examination of its properties. Discovery of the best experimental conditions of titan dioxide coating. Testing of the sorbents prepared using deferent conditions and evaluation of their effectiveness in the cleaning process of the water polluted by medical products. Characterization of textural and structural phase and individual surface area of testing material using analytic methods. Thesis of the investigation proposed that pollutants may be removed using systems of titan dioxiede and activated carbon. Selected testing object was the sorbent of the activated carbon coated with TiO2 catalyst. Catalyst formation was achieved using different coating conditions and 19 modified sorbents. Examination of crystal coverage, phase structure and individual surface area of prepared sorbents. Results revealed domination of the rutile crystal phase domination and large scale individual surface area changes of larger scale that those of the activated carbon. After testing of the effectiveness of the decomposition of prepared sorbents in the AA/TiO2/UV/O3 and AA/TiO2/O3 systems, there was demonstrated the similarity of AA/TiO2/UV/O3 system. The results of the maser thesis are important for the further tests of the combined systems, designated to increase the of effectiveness of actual adaptation of sorbents and catalyst systems. The work carried out under the project MIP-024/2014 “Synergetic DBD plasma modification technology for industrial wastewater treatmebt” “SINERGOPLAS”. |
