This work analyzes the different temperatures of calcined kaolin influence the curing properties of Portland cement. Stop at 500 ° C for kaolin clay mineral - kaolinite - and breaks down into active recrystallised metakaolinito form. It was found that the greatest impact on hardening Portland cement calcined kaolin were 700 and 800 ° C (500-800 ° C range studied). Improvement in the tested additive content of 25% of samples is greatly diminished. The compressive strength of the samples increases kaolin stop at the higher temperature (500 to 800 ° C). |
