Abstract [eng] |
The topic of Master’s thesis – ,,Influence of calcination additives on adsorptive properties of CaxAlyOz based materials’’. In this work sol – gel method was used to synthesize eight CaxAlyOz adsorbents with activated carbon, saccharose and starch additives. Influence of these additives on adsorption properties was investigated. Benzene gas and copper(II) solution adsorption on these adsorbents were conducted. In addition, the IR spectrum, atomic absorption spectrum and X-ray diffraction analyses were carried out. To analyze collected data, pseudo first order, pseudo second order, Vermeulen and intraparticle diffusion mathematic models were applied. Cu2+ ions adsorption equilibrium experiment results were analyzed using Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, Dubinin – Radushkevich and Elovich adsorption isotherms. From gathered results conclusion were made that adsorption process is chemisorption. Best adsorptive properties yielded adsorbents with activated carbon additive. Based on obtained results, the technological guidelines and principal technological scheme for the production of CaxAlyOz derivatives were proposed. The volume of the work is 50 pages and consists of summary, a list of figures and tables, introduction, literature survey, methodology part, results and discussion, technological recommendations, conclusions, references, appendices and CV. The work contains 18 figures and 11 tables. |
