Šmigelskytė A. Modernization of color glass container production shop of JSC “Kauno stiklas“: master’s thesis / supervisor Assoc. Prof. Vaickelionis G.; Department of Silicate Technology, Faculty of Chemical Technology, Kaunas University of Technology. – Kaunas, 2015; 109 p., 5 drawings. Glass manufacturing plant for colorful glass containers is being projected to produce 30 million sparkling wine and 50 million beer bottles per year. Glass load is consisted of 80 % of glass culet and 20 % of glass batch. All the necessary technical equipment was selected and calculated accordingly to the considered technological scheme. New end-port regenerative glass melting furnace with a partial electrical heating was selected to produce 115 t of glass melt per day. A research was conducted to determine CaO and MgO rate changes affect analysis of the batch melting, glass melt and glass properties itself. Accordingly to the conducted research glass composition and batch components were selected and calculated. Constructional and economical calculations were performed. Work safety and health, as well as, environmental assessment of the projected object were performed. |
