Kogeneration is one of the energy saving technology. This technology is most important, because from the same fuel is received energy and heat. For elecricity generation, heat is received like waste heat. The purpose of this thesis was to analyze the situation of Kaunas district heating networks and perform thermal scheme optimization of Kaunas biofuel cogeneration plant. The main tasks: Situation in the city of Kaunas district heating network. Situation of electricity supply and electricity generation. Analize principal scheme of kogeneration power plant. Calculate principal scheme efficiency, with heat exchanger and without. Invesments assessment analysis. Input calculation of alternative source heat. Independet heat manufacture, in recent two years, lower heat price in Kaunas city and diminish heat losses in city heat network. Calculating principal scheme efficiency with heat exchanger, efficiency decrease abot 16 %. |
