Abstract [eng] This master project examine the innovative digital printing technology and its use in evening clothing collections. The goal in the literary analysis part is to analyze the technological possibilities, advantages and disadvantages while comparing them with similar technologies. During the quantitative investigation, users opinions about this technology, as well as what makes an influence when choosing a evening garb, will be determined. The goal of the second subjective analysis is to determine the indicators of change of material and decor quality after various chemical cleaning processes. The obtained results of the quantitative and experimental subjective analysis will be used to plan the collection of western clothing, with the use of the digital printing technology. Analyzing the digital printing technology we can point out that it is a rapidly rising textile finishing way providing wide opportunities. This printing way promotes big changes in the industry of textiles. By using this innovative method, the industry is moving towards shorter production processes, products penetrate the market faster. It also provides the chance of bigger design changes over the season. No less important that this type of printing is the most ecological of them all, because the theme of ecology is very important and popular in the modern world. The ability to print a desired image increases the circle of ideas. The digital printing technology is also adapted in high fashion, famous fashion houses successfully present perspective season collections with the use of this technology. All these digital printing perks become clear not only by trying it out, but also by comparing it to the analogues of the modern day printing methods.
