The aim of the research is to carry out investigation of voltage converter effect to electric grid. Literature analysis delivers information about activity principles of photovoltaic converters, their types and usage. Modeling of solar power linked up to electric grid is discussed in methodic part. “Matlab/Simulink” program package is used. Solar power station model is improved by introducing regulation of active power. Solar power reacts to frequency changes and correspondingly it increases or reduces its active power in the grid. In comparison with usual solar power station, modeled has its power reserve. In the case of reducing power in the grid, solar power station is able to increase the power and raise active power balance. Simulation results are delivered. They show that solar power station has approximately 20% power in reserve. When frequency in the grid becomes lower, the solar power station delivers maximum of its power. If frequency increases then the solar power delivers its power reduced to minimum of fixed one. Solar power dependence upon the solar irradiance. Regulation of solar power characteristics reflects frequency regulation insensitive zone. |
