Abstract [eng] |
The objective of this work is to create an activated sludge process simulator using Matlab/Simulink software wchich would be possible to research of wastewater treatment processes modeling and control systems. First part of the work provides an overview of biological wastewater treatment technologies and describes composition of activated sludge. This chapter primarily focuses on several ways how to remove nitrogen and phosphorus from the wastewater. The second part of the thesis focuses on processing data in a mathematical model which describes state variables in wastewater treatment processes. Also process control problems and suggestions are dicussed in this part. In the third part, a process simulator was used for research of transition processes and then were calculated allowable emissions. The findings of the work and creation of dissolved oxygen concentration control system are presented in the last part of the thesis. |
