In this thesis, the Information System was developed for applying OWL 2 Ontology based search. This thesis describes a method to obtain information from many distributed sources in one information system applying OWL 2 ontology. This system is useful for searching actual data from many Websites via the single interface. This is possible due to keeping references to distributed data sources in ontology data. The experimental investigation of the Information System prototype has shown that such a way is feasible and the prototype was positively assessed by its potential users. |
