Master’s thesis explores a biofuel boiler-house. The paper researches parameters determining the operation of the selected boiler-house. The paper explores a correlation between parameters, how would they change if one of the parameters of the boiler-house (such as: excess air ratio, fuel moisture, the temperature of supplied hot water, etc.) is altered. Once the correlation between the parameters of the boiler-house was determined a chart was created in which all the parameters were recalculated according to the average external temperature of a day. The exploratory boiler-house always operates according to the mentioned chart. The change of external temperature alters the parameters of the boiler-house. A coefficient of estimated useful operation of the boiler-house was calculated during the heating season of 2013-2014, depending on the ambient temperature, without an evaluation of the smoke condensing economizer (SCE). SCE research was conducted and discovered the factors which determine the effectiveness of the device. The calculation of estimated useful operation of the boiler-house was repeated including SCE and the results were presented graphically. The results obtained enable a moderate determination of moisture of the stoked fuel during the analyzed period in the selected boiler-house. |
