Current transformers errors highly increase at transient beginning, when faults occur. In order to ensure a proper relay protection performance, current transformer have to operate at right accuracy. Current transformer transient must be analysed to understand that happens after short circuit. There is an overview of current transformers performance, phase and current errors, transient at short circuit. Also, the report goes about nonlinear mathematical model of current transformer. Power network scheme is analysed for be applied for mathematical current transformer model in the methodical part. Short circuits with software was calculated too. For investigation is used nonlinear current transformer model at SIMULINK software environment. In this paper, transient of current transformers at short circuits was investigated. |
