Abstract [eng] Thermal imaging is a technique of detecting the object's infrared radiation and creating an image based on that information, but it is not widely used in routine medical diagnostics. In ours day’s thermography is broadly used for diagnostics of breast cancer, skin melanoma and other areas of pathology. For a normal person, the thermogram shows uniform and symmetric temperature variations. Thermography was used for early diagnostic of maxillofacial pathology. It was found, that face surface temperature asymmetry higher than 0.4oC to 1.25 oC was associated with the presence of abnormality. For sick and healthy patients classification was used kNN classifier, which divided 21 patients into two groups according determinated attributes. The accuracy of classifier is 90.4%.
