At this work studied real, currently installing HVDC „Nord Balt“ line connecting Sweden and Lithuania. A very good example of such a line, because there are marine and terrestrial cable lines, as well as high energy transmission distance of 453 km, and high power (700 MW) compared to other existing systems in the world. HVDC systems analyzed the advantages and disadvantages in comparison with standard electric transmission lines. An overview of the possible types of HVDC systems and configurations. An overview of these systems use networks of stabilization examples. HVDC systems evaluated the benefits and opportunities for Lithuania. Performed HVDC system modeling „Matlab Simulink“ program. Examine the response to sudden load increases , short-circuit in the DC cable and short-circuit in AC sides in Lithuania and Sweden. Checking the suitability of such a system model or design calculations. |
