Strategic change management foreign and Lithuanian authors analyzed with respect to strategic change management theories, the strategic change causality, exploring strategic change implementation obstacles and providing research-based information about strategic change management in public sector institutions, but still has not been fully formulated methodology of how to manage strategic change. In a fragmentary insights and data about the strategic management of change in higher education in the context of the object, to analyze the relevant scientific literature related to strategic change management at the institutional level, since the beginning of the Lithuania in higher education change processes, captured strategic goals discrepancy existing results, and drafted the labor problem, with documentary and data analysis reveals that strategic change management in higher education institutions, conditioned by external changes, enables institutions to improve performance quality that the different stakeholders (state higher education community, the market) identified differently. Choice of Kaunas city universities event successfully implement changes in higher education institutions, it is assumed due to the openness to new methods of operation - external measures, cooperative support relationship – project activities, joint venture agreements with Lithuanian and foreign universities, as well as proactive actions – the organizational reform of the system for the effective management to ensure the quality of studies, as well as communication with external groups (foreign students, university departments and so on.), but the results of the study to objectively justify the lack of data, since both students renewal both of internationalization and scientific publications parameters change depends on many external factors, which identify and assess need for further research. |
