Abstract [eng] Skin diseases are very common in nowadays medicine. Not caring enough for your skin, overtanning, genetics, burns – all these might end up as the reason for serious skin disease, for example, melanoma. Chances to survive skin cancer are very dependable on how early it is diagnosed and on late stages of this disease they are very slim. Poor is, that in many cases it is too late to prevent horrible outcomes. As it is, that the most important part of successful disease treatment is early diagnosis, it was chosen to write this work about skin lesion diagnosis improvement by fusing ultrasonic and optical diagnostic methods, to measure all critical skin lesion parameters for most accurate and fast diagnosis. It was analysed and researched what the most common methods of skin lesion diagnosis are and what are the issues of these methods. With this knowledge it was proved, that method fusion is the right way to improve skin lesion diagnostic measurements of skin lesions. To prove the point of the work and show how wide possibilities are web application was created. This application gives opportunity to analyse dermascope and ultrasound images together in one screen and measure the most vital parameters of skin lesion in very simple way. Also, application shows how much more comfortable it is to have common diagnostic methods computerised to help medical stuff decide easier on diagnosis.
