The research presents assessment methods and boundary characteristics of facility conditions. In the laboratory, an exploited 10 kV electric cable with an insulation of paper and reinforced cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) was tested and analyzed. Moreover, its defects and possibilities for further work of electricity grid in normal and emergency modes were determined. 10 kV cable electric grid transformer substation SP-54 and emergency of transformer scheme elements attached to it in the Southern part of Vilnius city were analyzed by preparing a fault tree. Reliability indices were calculated when electricity grid worked with different engagement configurations. Consumer loads of the Southern part of Vilnius city were calculated. The comparison between the reliability of cable electricity grid power supplies and power supply interruption values of the Southern part of Vilnius city with the general reliability ratio in Lithuania and permitted values was performed. The dependence of 10 kV electricity grid power supply reliability indices on the variety of electricity interconnections, additional lines and new power supplies was investigated. Reliability categories of power supply points according to the recovery time were calculated. Recommendations and technical solutions for the increase of power supply reliability for the users of the network were provided. The research methodology for inspecting cable electricity grid elements condition and possible element failure, as well as the losses incurred was prepared. |
