Abstract [eng] The very specificity of the relationship between business companies and the banks immediately implies the relationship asymmetry, assigning a stronger power position to the bank. The aim of the thesis - to identify the development of bargaining power of the small and medium-sized enterprises with the banks with regards to financing.According to the scientific literature, theoretical insights, and the results of the survey conducted, the structured negotiation process model was developed for \"the development of the bargaining power of small and medium-sized enterprises in negotiations with banks in the business-financing process\".The model helps prepare structurally and manage negotiations maximising bargaining power, seeking the best outcome of the negotiations for the small and medium-sized companies.
