Abstract [eng] |
The main goal of the study was to apply Lean and 6 Sigma methodologies to increase the efficiency of electronic products manufacturing operations. Inefficient production led to financial losses and delays in products delivery. During the research, the most common types of production efficiency losses, presented in the Lean methodology, were evaluated. Lean methodology tools, which can be adapted to identify the wastes and improve the processes, were reviewed. Evaluated 6 Sigma methodology tool DMAIC, which can be used to increase the efficiency of manual electronics manufacturing operations. Five manual operations of electronics production and the factors determining their time were analyzed. The DMAIC method and Lean tools was applied to increase the efficiency of operations. After implementation of this project, financial losses of operations were reduced and the efficiency of these operations increased from 54.17% to 95.57%. Based on the data, collected during the study, a methodology for calculating the time of the analyzed operations was developed. It allows to calculate the time of processes more accurate and simpler. |
