The final master’s thesis analyses the implementation of strategic planning in Lithuanian municipalities. Two municipalities, Kretinga district municipality and Palanga city municipality, have been chosen as the object of the research. The topic is relevant as there is the aim to determine how the implementation processes of strategic municipality development and action planning are being coordinated. The problem analyzed in the thesis is the insufficient attention to the analysis of the implementation of strategic development and action planning in Lithuanian municipalities. Greater attention is paid to the execution of all the necessary procedures of strategic planning without the real understanding of the strategic planning essence as the means of increasing the efficiency of municipality activity. . |
