Personnel selection is part of human resources management, which is the most important part of the public administration organizations. The main purpose of every civil service is transparent staff selection, efficient, professional as well as regulated by the specific selection order, which ensures that the most competent and qualified personnel will be employed. Recently changed selection system of the civil service was one of the most urgent tasks of improving public services, therefore it is relevant to analyze the changes in the selection procedure of the preparation in public institutions. Purpose of the work is to analyze the selection system of the civil service system in Lithuania. This paper analyzes the selection of Lithuanian civil servants principles, examines the advantages and disadvantages of the system, features, tools and methods. . |
