The present master‘s thesis disclose the significance of healthy lifestyle and recreation for the modern society. Healthy living and recreation are treated as public values; moreover, sports, spare-time and recreation facilities are considered as public services of the city. Therefore, the approach is taken in this job, that a satisfaction of citizens in the mentioned above services may be explored by means of public surveys. For the secondary analysis the poll of 1932 residents of Kaunas of the year 2014 was chosen. 21 initial indicator of the mentioned above poll has been selected out of 198 initial indicators and explicitly analyzed here in the master’s thesis. The selected indicators reflect the condition of the sports, spare-time and recreation facilities. The rating of the services has been analyzed by means of factor analysis; furthermore, 9 psychometric scales reflecting satisfaction of the customers have been designed. Using cluster analysis the services have been classified by the satisfaction level. On the basis of values of the scales of separate parts of the city the “map” of residents’ satisfaction in services has been made. The thesis provides the conclusions about the condition of the facilities of the respective profile and gives recommendations with regards to the development of the sector. |
