Abstract [eng] |
Soil is contaminated during transport, storage, production or unexpected oil spills. Contaminated soil must be cleaned until oil products have penetrated groundwater and contaminated it. Biological methods of cleaning soil contaminated with oil and its products are among the most commonly used. Heavy oil products, such as bitumen, are inaccessible to the decomposition of microorganisms, so an additional method (chemical oxidation) is used to convert pollutants into less hazardous or completely non-hazardous compounds by chemical reactions, and the purification is completed biologically. The aim of the study to evaluate the possibility of developing complex technological principles by combining chemical oxidation and biological treatment. |
