Abstract [eng] |
Reducing GHGs that affect the climate change is one of the most important environmental objectives of the European Union (EU). In accordance with the National Energy Independence Strategy, Lithuania has committed itself to reduce the intensity of energy consumption by 1,5 times by 2030 and 2,4 times by 2050. In order to successfully fulfill Lithuania's obligations to the EU, innovations must be implemented in industrial and energy facilities in order to conserve the resources of equipment, processes and human labor, while increasing the overall efficiency of operations. The implementation of cleaner production projects in industrial facilities allow us to achieve this objective by using the methods which are used by cleaner production. |
