In the master thesis the study will be done, whose purpose is to research what impact DC lines has on power systems stability, when they connect two asynchronous AC power systems. Whereas the most difficult faults in power system are near generators, disturbances will be modeled in generators buses in few different cases: when generator in bus of the fault works on normal mode and maximum mode, as well when one or two DC links operates between systems. Critical clearing times will be searched in every case, as well it will be checked, that all the variables of the systems are within the limits during fault and after it. |
