In this master's thesis the reliability of electricity distribution networks and its evaluation indicators - SAIDI and SAIFI are studied, furthermore, measures dedicated to improve these indicators are explored. 2019 outages of Klaipėda region southwest distribution network are examined and network lines that have the greatest impact on reliability indicators are diagnosed. For the line with the highest impact, theoretical reliability is calculated using the radial distribution network zone and branch method and the possibilities to apply reliability improvement measures are investigated. After choosing the most effective reliability improvement measures the cost of their application and their impact on the Klaipėda region SAIFI and SAIDI indicators are evaluated. |
