Abstract [eng] |
In today’s world, evolving new technologies are changing not only people’s daily lives, but also the industrial sector. It is increasingly being said that a fourth technical / industrial revolution has already begun, called Industry 4.0. The industry is constantly testing the latest technologies to maximize productivity and optimize the performance of all industries. The use of assistive systems undoubtedly contributes to this. This work analyzes these systems and their application in industry. The paper describes the possible types of assistive systems (virtual, augmented and mixed realities) and how they change the industrial sector. The development of systems that use augmented reality technology is analyzed in detail: the essential parts of the augmented reality system are described; analysis of used software and hardware was performed; an application development study was carried out with the available hardware (Meta 2, Moverio BT-350 and iOS smartphone) and software adapted for them. Comparing the technical capabilities of the equipment, experimental tests were performed to determine the recognition accuracy under different lighting conditions, tag types, and color changes in database images. |
