| Abstract [eng] |
Flexible management of the electrical system is one of the most important features of a modern system, especially in systems with renewable energy sources. One of the most recent and least integrated sources of flexibility is consumer demand management and its response. The paper reviews consumer aggregation, load planning, interconnection of different types of energy, planned demand management and incentive systems. Characteristics of the main flexible loads in the industrial, service and household sectors for 2014–2018 are mapped. Demand flexibility is found to be provided with devices involving automatic or semi-automatic control. |
