Pyrazole moiety containing molecules are one of the most important due to their pharmacological and biological activity. They are characterized by anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-cancer and other properties. The aim of the present work is the synthesis of novel N-substituted pyrazolo[4,3-c]azepines. The target compounds were prepared starting form 4-oxoazepane-1-carboxylate via keto ester reaction with substituted hydrazines or hydrazine hydrate and subsequent alkylation of pyrazolecarboxylate with various alkylhalides. Hydrolysis of the resulting carboxylates and subsequent reactions with substituted amines were also performed. Cleavage of Boc protecting group was performed and the resulting compounds were sent for biological investigations. |
